The 2012 Lexus CT 200 hybrid! The Lexus CT 200 features a unique Exhaust Gas Recirculation system that collects, cools and repurposes exhaust gasses in the combustion process. It also has different modes for driving. “Whether you’re in a parking garage, rush-hour traffic or just in the mood to sit back and enjoy, Normal, ECO and EV modes are designed to provide optimal efficiency. Taking the smooth and quiet performance of Normal mode to another level, ECO mode optimizes the climate control and evens out the acceleration curve. In EV mode, the CT runs on battery power alone for short distances and at low speeds. Because the gasoline engine is not engaged, noise is minimized and exhaust emissions are eliminated. Depending on driving conditions, both ECO and EV modes can noticeably reduce fuel consumption.

Maybe it’s an unexpected stretch of curvy road or a favorite song on your playlist. Whatever your motivation, when inspiration strikes, SPORT mode makes any ride a more exhilarating one. When selected, illumination of the instrument panel and Drive Mode Select switch changes from blue to red and the hybrid power monitor gauge is replaced with a tachometer.
